Leatherman in a single tool, a guard

Beautiful, well designed, all-in-one tool (scissors, pliers, screwdrivers, knife, etc..) Slightly bulky, but comes with a pouch that attaches to your belt. Well built to last a lifetime (and has a lifetime warranty). Hope I do not lose it.

oops, broken gift

Excellent tool, but here's my story.
The small purchase for a gift, a mistake.
I never opened the tool, I'm thrilled and gave as a gift. Of course, the return date has expired, and it turns out that this gift is broken.
Red for Christmas, I think opening the package the next time.

Very useful, well-built tool (albeit a little steep)

My Leatherman Blast is a replacement for aging Leatherman Super Tool.

My experience, after several months has been:

Good:
-blade knife is solid and razor-sharp
UK plastic inserts put your hands when using the clamp-
Good selection of tools
-Fit and finish up to the reputation
release Leatherman tools with push-tab is a little easier to open other tools

Bad:
-initially very severe, most joints have loosened a little use, but some times, the tools are yet deadly nails

So-so:
I prefer the nylon of the leather sheath that

Trade-offs:
-It there is only one blade of the knife. While this saves space (good!) The blade of the knife is probably the most important-in a desperate situation, it could be so cruelly d

Perfect for the Average Joes

I only had this Leatherman Blast for a couple of weeks, but until now, everything I had hoped. It has all the tools typically use regular person, it is built solid, not too heavy, and folds to a very compact size. Multitool My first is a military, and it is very practical and comprehensive, but I would say that the Blast would be better for me in the long term. Pliers and all the tools lock system is what sold me from buying another Swiss. I had researched other brands (Gerber and Swiss), but decided on this Leatherman mainly because of what he has (and has not, who really needs more than 20 tools in your pocket ?) And the name of Leatherman, and so far it has exceeded my expectations.
No questions about it, I recommend this Multitool for those Average Joes like me, or those who want to build a solid, easy to use and practice Multitool.
