Ideal for deep holes!I could not seem to grow past about 30 "with post-hole, but with this tool can easily spend about four feet deep. This is an excellent design and well built, and my project.

Good accessoryI am currently using three post hole for a large bridge project. It is a useful tool, but do not throw the shovel Cheapo treated wood. For the shallower soil I use the treated wood, mainly because it is lighter, which I think is most important. You spend more energy to pull the tool out of the hole and if it is heavy, you will wear quickly. No tools to remove more than a few handfuls at a time. The narrowness of the blade of the Fiskars is ideal for shaving the sides of the hole and the creation of ridges. Hinges, however, are far from the edge to meet the more parallel, therefore, the charges in bulk tend to slide from the mouth that you are pulling it out.

Best Ever Post Hole DiggerLightweight and easy to use. Will dig a deep hole in less time than a conventional shovel. This will make a hole diameter slightly larger than a conventional shovel, so you'll need a little more concrete to fill. It is almost impossible to tap the fingers of your shot when using this. The all steel construction is very sturdy, I expect that in years. Handles of wood or fiberglass in general distinct break or dig the head after only a few uses. The only drawback is the signature orange slip handles for lifting a load of soil. I recommend to stick on.
