| Good biscuit jointer I searched and this is the best case. I'm not a pro and I only use this May 1 or 2 times, but I wanted one that would do a good job and not a piece of scrap. This was perfect. Moderately priced, good quality and got the job.Freud JS102 6.5 amp Plate Joiner with Tilting Fence - 6.5 amps; 10,000 rpm

Correct type of engine, but the rough edgesI bought this to upgrade from one unit of Ryobi, which is pretty convenient, but has a nice arrangement crude fence. I recently bought a router that Freud compared favorably with my Porter Cable units so I tried that. The machine is an update, but it has its uncomfortable questions. The engine of the fine, the balance is good, the barrier is very well so even if the lock on both the height and angle adjustments are easily knocked out of position if they are not very tight. Things are a little annoying are easily connected chip chute, the bag of sawdust to catch which does not remain on the machine - falls away. The size of the chip connection drop does not correspond to any standard pipe I have. The passage on the engine can be described as requiring a funky rocking motion and slippage. The price is that the accuracy is more than enough. Just a few rough edges. Would prin

The Best Deal for the MoneyIt is a very good point. Freud I bought because I trust in the name. I was not disappointed. It is a versatile tool that is built to last.

The fence will not beI used this tool for over a year to make a wide variety of projects. I first noticed that the barrier "slipped" when I was doing fine work. The fence slides when you rest on your work (if you measure the biscuit in the slot at the top of the closure of the plate). This is the case, no matter how much I tighten the fence. The solution of this tool is used only to lie flat and then use only the fence as a guide. Since I'm the kind of work that requires more precision, I'll move on to the Porter Cable 557 in a few months. This tool is good for a beginner who does not know if they will use cookies or not. Pros should begin with a better model.
