| Excellent Little Sander Sander bought this a year ago and I continue to find new uses for it. Started by sanding 200sq feet 2 bedrooms to redo the wood floors - worked excellent. Since then I have used on several jobs with little complaining. Great sanderSander works hard, and quickly. Use of this sander is night and day compared to the 1/4-sheet sanders I have used so far. I was able to quickly pieces of adhesive tape to drywall, finish boards and other projects in record time. Well worth every penny.

Well, my old 1 / 4 sheet sander finally dead, and I decided to go to the DeWalt random orbital sander, based mainly on good reviews. Let me tell you, I am blown away by how it works. I arrived several sanding pine chests I do, and DeWalt sander does a great job. I started with 120 grain paper, and then right to 220 grain - an excellent job. I had about 150 sand, but decided to skip that when I saw how the arrival of the 120 was sand.
This sander is consistent with the grain, across the grain, the way you want it and an excellent job. Most of my sanding on flat surfaces, which makes life much easier, but I also sanded rounded-top treasure that I do, and he did an excellent job on this, too.

9 Years and Still Running StrongI had this sander for about 9 years old, and I sanded more than one billion square meters of wood. Well, not really, but I have put hundreds of hours of sanding soft wood, wood, MDF, and my sister has borrowed from innumerable sand area of drywall.
The dust collection is not terrible, but it works. It works fine when plugged into a shop vacuum can.
About the only thing that has a little rubber wear is mostly on the power switch. I have not used any of the other brands of random orbit sanders, so I can not speak for comparison.
